Sea Freight Parcel & Carton Shipping

Sending parcel and freight by sea is not an ideal shipping solution if speed of transit is a priority. If you need to get your goods to their destination as quickly as possible then you should consider using Air Freight services. However, it can save your pocket if you plan your moving ahead from the others.

 

Apart from the slower transit time (approximately 8-10 weeks from the date of collection from origin address to Peninsular Malaysia, 3-4 weeks further for East Malaysia), sea freight is the most affordable method to send your belongings. You can send bigger volume on a cheaper tariff.

 

Please see image below for our latest rates on door to door* parcel shipping service. They are all in flat rate, collected from your door and deliver to the other end of your choice, no extra charges will be imposed. Exception however applies for certain area of services and countries please contact us for further information on extra charges on our outskirt area. Please note below rates will effective from 1st Mac 2024. Current rates will remain for all free boxes ordered and delivered before then.

  • Max weight allocation of 30kg,  £10 charges for an overweight box up to 10kg. Another £20 for every subsequent 10kg

  • Max weight allocation of 30kg,  £10 charges for an overweight box up to 10kg. Another £20 for every subsequent 10kg

  • Per address minimum charges for every consignment: £60 (West Malaysia) and £130 (East Malaysia)

SEA FREIGHT | ODD BOX | 30kg | £10.50 per cubic ft

  • Free collection: Any address in UK Mainland except for outskirt/remote area

  • Free delivery: West Malaysia except for Highlands and Remote Islands

  • Any packages other than MAXI or MIDI box (Your own sized box and not EDEX boxes)

  • Odd box minimum charges: £20

  • Per address minimum charges for every consignment: £60 (West Malaysia) and £130 (East Malaysia)

What do you get from this service?

  • FREE DOUBLE WALL CORRUGATED PACKING BOXES of your choice MAXI or MIDI size as you prefer. We supply high-quality double wall corrugated reinforced boxes in 2 different sizes, and these are the best material that will protect your belongings during shipment and transit. Order your FREE boxes NOW! Free packing boxes are limited to UK mainland address only. Free delivery is subject to refundable security deposit. Please email us for a quote on delivery service other than UK mainland or outskirt address.

 

  • FREE COLLECTION from UK Mainland address within 10 working days from the date we confirmed your booking. Premium collection on the date of your choice is possible upon availability from just £25 per carton. Please contact our customer service to know the collection charge quote for outskirt/remote area.

 

  • All shipments are trackable via our customer service desk. We will provide you with a docket number, and your package can be tracked either by emailing us at info@edaranexpress.com or just give us a ring for an update. You can also send us a message through our Instagram and facebook page, just click on the Icons at the bottom of this page. We are not able to provide real-time tracking at the moment due to the nature of parties and procedures involved in the chain. This manual tracking enables us to keep the rates lowest possible.

  • Customs export documentation for discharge and entry release.

  • All shipment will be kept in our 24 hours monitored CCTV warehouse. We always prioritise the safety and security of your packages.

  • All port documentations and customs clearance on arrival.​

​

  • We guarantee 100% successful delivery in Malaysia. Just make sure the recipient details submitted are correct to avoid any dissatisfaction. We cannot be responsible for failure to notify due to insufficient details were given.

  • Minimum charge for every piece of an odd box is £20. Minimum charge for every consignment on each address is £60.

​

  • Minimum charge for East Malaysia is £130 per consignment. 

​

  • £100 of free insurance cover per consignment. Extra cover is also available upon request at 2% over the value of the goods.
